An important part of your role is the development of the working team leaders. In addition to your visible role on the floor, you are also responsible for the administrative processes surrounding production. You manage production data, work instructions, in-line checks, analyze deviations, track competencies, qualifications, and training programs, process absenteeism administration, and oversee workforce planning.

The use and optimization of ERP automation processes within the department are an important part of your role. Together with the team leaders, you ensure efficiency and productivity goals are achieved. You provide the information needed for a well-organized production and are part of the operational management team in strategic decision-making.

You report directly to the Business Unit Manager.

You also play an important role in internal communication. You ensure all employees are informed about changes in agreements, work processes, or safety and/or quality regulations. You use available tools or develop new ones so information is clear, visible, understandable, and accessible to everyone.

Your Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who brings clarity, maintains overview, can set priorities, and quickly understands situations. You combine a results-driven mindset with attention to employees and make decisions based on facts and observation.

As Production Manager, you provide direction, ensure follow-up, and support team leaders in their development. You are both results- and process-oriented, with a focus on continuous improvement.

For the position of Production Manager, you bring:

  • HBO level of working and thinking (Bachelor’s degree equivalent)

  • Experience managing employees, preferably in a production environment
  • Experience analyzing data and working with production or planning systems
