Sales Support Officer

Are you customer-oriented, communicatively strong, and well-organized? Do you have a background in chemistry or experience in a technical sales environment? Then you might be the perfect addition to our Sales Support team!
About the role
As a Sales Support Officer, you are the link between our customers, field sales team, and internal departments. You ensure that quotations and orders run smoothly and act as the main point of contact for both customers and colleagues. With your organizational skills and service-oriented mindset, you contribute to customer satisfaction and a strong sales organization.
Our Sales Support team consists of 5.5 FTE and supports our international sales organization. You will work closely with departments such as Laboratory, Finance, Logistics, Sales, Publicity, and Helpdesk.
Your responsibilities
- Preparing quotations and monitoring delivery times and schedules
- Handling customer inquiries and supporting our international field sales team
- Managing the complete order process from A to Z
- Coordinating information flow to internal departments (quotations, orders, invoices)
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers and colleagues
What we ask
- MBO/HBO level education with relevant work experience
- A background in chemistry (e.g. laboratory technician/analyst) or experience as Sales Support / Inside Sales / Customer Service in a technical production environment (experience in machine building is a plus)
- Excellent command of Dutch and English (knowledge of German or French is an advantage)
- Experience with Exact is a plus
- You are accurate, customer-focused, communicative, and a true team player
