The most important product lines of Skalar are the Continuous Flow Analyzer, the Discrete Analyzer, the Total Organic Carbon & Total Nitrogen Analyzers and the Robotic Analyzers. These analyzers are mostly used in environmental laboratories, universities, drinking and waste water treatment facilities, food industries and agriculture.
We are looking to add a (fulltime):
Field Service Engineer/Technician US, Atlanta, GA
Atlanta - Georgia, United States
Functions include but not limited to:
• Installation and service of Skalar laboratory analyzers throughout the United States but mainly in the eastern half of the US
• Training of customers on use and maintenance of equipment at facility locations
• Perform repairs and maintenance on equipment locally and at customer locations
• Provide telephone support and service/CRM database entry of issues and documentation of work performed
Requirements:
• Minimum of an associate’s degree in Chemistry / Chemical Engineering or Electronics, a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Previous experience with Skalar analyzers is a definite plus
• Mechanically inclined with the ability to troubleshoot and repair instrumentation
• Affinity towards learning new software programs
• Reliable and dependable, self-motivated, capable of working unsupervised as part of a team
• Frequent travel to a variety of industrial facilities (50%-75%)
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers
• Valid driver’s license and passport or ability acquire one
