Customer Support Officer

Breda | Full-time

Please note:

  • Excellent written and verbal proficiency in Dutch and English is required
  • This position is based at our head office in Breda (The Netherlands)


Your challenge

In this role, you will perform an active administrative and supporting function within the Customer Support team. You are an important link between customers, the international field sales team, and various internal departments.

You are responsible for the accurate and efficient preparation and processing of quotations, orders, and administrative data flows.

Thanks to your attention to detail and organizational skills, the entire order and quotation process runs smoothly and without errors.

The Customer Support team consists of 5.5 FTE and supports the international sales organization. You will work closely with departments such as Laboratory, Finance, Logistics, Sales, Publicity, and Helpdesk.


Your responsibilities

  • Preparing quotations and monitoring delivery times and schedules
  • Responding to customer inquiries via email and phone
  • Managing the entire order process from A to Z
  • Providing administrative support to the international field sales team
  • Coordinating information flows to internal departments (quotations, orders, invoices)
  • Acting as the primary point of contact for customers and colleagues


What we ask from you

  • Completed MBO or HBO degree
  • Experience in an administrative/commercial support role within a technical/chemical production environment (experience in machine building is a plus)
  • Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken
  • Experience with Exact is a plus
  • Affinity with or knowledge of chemistry is a plus
  • Accurate, customer-oriented, strong communicator, and a team player
